One studio, its own tools

Ninth Orbit is an independent studio making games and creative software. We build the tools first, then use them to make our games, so every tool is tested on real work before anyone else touches it.

Battle Nova is the proof: its pilots, worlds and comic panels were painted with ImageForge, and its soundtrack, sound effects and narrator were made with MusicForge.
